Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I've recently been asked by a parent if I could find any information about the importance of continuity and routine for a child at the same developmental stage as her daughter being 17 months. Reason being is that mum and dad are newly seperated and will be attending mediation. Mum has been advised to attend the mediation with as much info available supporting her beliefs that routine is important as dad is asking for contact/visitation every tues, thurs and alternate weekends. Dad is currently having contace every tues and alternate weekends. Mum's concern is the child needs routine. I do not wish to become involved however this parent has put her trust in me. I am committed to finding info on social development and the effects of seperate parenting but want to remain nuetrel. Does anyone know of some good resources that I could axcess.
