A job description allows you to understand what is expected of you in the workplace. What you are required to do in order to contribute to a respectful work environment.
A job description also allows your employer to discuss anything with you that you are not contributing to the work place, but should be.I hope this helps, if you need any further information please don't hesitate to ask.
