Hi all just wongering if any one could give me some help or advise please i'm doing my cert 3 and finally up to my last assessment I should be able to answer these questions but am having a mental block (mental breakdown) lol serious. I have to do a folder on Sleep/rest routines & environment, Toileting & nappy changing,Personal hygiene (hair,nails,teeth,bathing/showering),Meals, Clothing (dressing & undressing) and Settling in(arrivals,departures, transition)
I have to imagine I am required to care for a child (toddler) For each of the sections I mentioned above I need to record stratagies that I would use to care for and assist the toddler in the routine.
1)Skills & procedures you would need to be familiar with?
2)How you would assist the child to develop independence?
3)How you would acknowledge and support their emotional needs during the routine?
4)Opportunities & methods you would use to provide the toddler with information related to the routine?
5) How your stratagies respected the indivisual & cultural differences of the child?
I have wrote down some things but just not getting it, I thought maybe if some of you have any ideas they might like to share it could be somehting I have already wrote or have'nt even thought about. some are things I would do with my own children or I have already done incare, but putting it in writing seems alot harder why i DO NOT know,
You must think how silly is this person but some times it is the simple things that seem hard and this week they are to me ....
